Affordability

Keeping Our Community Affordable

People across Rhode Island are struggling to keep up with rising costs, whether it be inflation, rising taxes, housing costs, or wages that don’t keep up with the cost of living. I will work tirelessly to put money back in the pockets of working people and our seniors. I will take every opportunity to push back on corporate greed, and make wise investments of state dollars to ensure Rhode Islanders get the most value out of their government.

To that end I helped increase tax exemptions for Social Security and retirement income, passed a $250 child tax credit, restored cost of living adjustments for retirees, and supported car tax elimination.

I also secured more funding for public schools in regional school districts and brought more money into the community than any other Representative in the past decade.
